Travel Log 3.0

We needed fresh air and drove to Rock Springs cafe- the oldest cafe in Arizona in 1918. They are famous for their pies. So we indulged !

We had a picnic at Badger Wash creek. Couldn’t hike too far as the water was everywhere and Herb had sandals on! But it was fun!

After things closing we found a local trail to enjoy. The flowers were blooming and Harvey’s paws turned yellow!!

Kristine recovered from a bad cold and got in another hike at Lake Pleasant. Lots of families even with COVID-19 news everywhere!

Kristine went to visit Frances Wise Raely who is 104 and graduated from Hayward High school in 1932. Kristine was able to do FaceTime with Janie Wise- the niece who went to school with Kristine’s sisters in Hayward. What a small world!

Our spring season baseball game to see the Milwaukee brewers vs Kansas City royals – was fun!

Tickets to Indian Wells which got canceled due to the coronavirus
